A lot has happened since Jürgen Klopp’s first game in charge of Liverpool at White Hart Lane last October but not so much has changed. Problems with consistency continue , which Klopp had alluded to well before their chastening defeat by Burnley last weekend.

The Reds are banged up already, with Divock Origi, Emre Can, and Philippe Coutinho all doubts for the match. Loris Karius, Joe Gomez, Mamadou Sakho and Lucas Leiva are all also out.
Spurs meanwhile are (mostly) healthy and complete, and look to be the better side on paper, but they seem to be still figuring a few tactical things out. Four points from two matches isn’t bad, but you get the sense that the are a little bit away from really clicking as a team.

Difference here is that Spurs had the second best defensive (13 clean sheets) and attacking (69 goals) record last year and I would be looking for that to continue. Liverpool have goals in them for sure but don’t look too solid at the back. This meeting last season ended with a scoreless draw, seem to be a close encounter today as well with few goals in it.

With both teams still trying to find their groove, a draw could be on the cards but for me Under 2.5 goals is the best option.
